SafeStart 2020

The Gardner Schools' COVID-19 Action Plan Hub for the 2020-2021 School Year

Dear Gardner families,

We are so excited to be able to welcome your students back this fall! We know our expert teachers are looking forward to teaching again, and to protecting your student’s safety and emotional well being in a nurturing setting.

Our Gardner Returns Committee continues to work hard to translate new information and requirements from the various state agencies into policies and procedures that fit our educational philosophy and include the needs of our students, families, and staff. To that end, we've created this website to house these policies and procedures that we're calling the Gardner School SafeStart Plan.

Given the evolving science around COVID-19, our SafeStart Plan will continue to be refined throughout the school year (you can see changes and updates in our blog feed here). We are poised to be flexibly creative, meeting each student where they are, to offer them the social and emotional support they need to return, and to joyfully welcome them back in the full spirit of a Gardner education.

Thank you,

Emily Davis, Head of School

Courtney Tomlinson, Assistant Head of School
